DSRA Successfully Concludes 3-Day “SarSabz Pakistan” Tree Plantation Drive in DHA Karachi With the approval of The Central Executive Committee of DSRA under the Chairmanship of DSRA President Mr. Sharfuddin Memon, a 3-day “SarSabz Pakistan” project was held from 12th to 14th August 2026. Vice President Madam Shagufta Nasreen led the project as Project Chair.Her team included CEC Members: Tahira Naseem, Shama Saeed, Meraj Khawaja, Farooq Maniar, Suleman Tahir, and Shamsa Javed. Rehan Khaliq assisted the team in day-to-day operations at all levels.
Day 1 – 12th August: Plantation at Darakhshan & Sahil Police Stations, Phase 8
Day 2 – 13th August: Greening & plantation drive at a _school near Zamzama Park with students, teachers, DSRA Members & area volunteers.
Day 3 – 14th August: Distribution of small and mature saplings to citizens passing by cars, SUVs, and even motorcycles at the main crossing of Khayaban-e-Shamsheer & Edhi Avenue near McDonald’s, Beach Avenue From engaging with the general public and DHA residents, to coordinating with police officials, planting with school students, and handing saplings to families — every effort was aimed at building a cleaner, greener Defence and a SarSabz Pakistan.
